| | | | | Sunil | | Brian, can you tell me how you first got interested in e-books? | | | | Brian | | I began selling The Songwriter's Guide to Demo Submission in printed form about 5 years ago. Unfortunately, the printing and shipping costs always took a big chunk out of the proceeds. Now, by selling e-books, my profit margin has increased and my workload has gone down!
When selling hard copies, I had to get the books printed, store them, and then package and mail them. I also had to collect money, make deposits, and communicate more frequently with customers via email and snail mail.
Now, with e-books, the automation aspect is wonderful! Customers can shop 24 hours a day, pay by credit card (using ClickBank†), and immediately download and benefit from their new e-Book. I basically just have the pleasure of logging on to see how many sales I made that day! (no more buying packing envelopes, driving to UPS, sending email confirmations, and so on!) | | | | | | Sunil | | I know you use Activ E-Book Compiler, why did you select our software? | | | | Brian | | Before I bought Activ E-Book, I researched nearly a dozen other e-book software programs (some with prices up around $200).
