Bob McElwain: 1 2 3 4 5 Interview with Bob McElwain (5) | | | | | Sunil | | Bob, you have a lot of helpful information online at Site Tips and Tricks, can you summarize why a person should visit your site? | | | | Bob | | I guess the best answer is that it's different. I'm something of a maverick when it comes to business online. For example, I don't ask what sells best. I ask, "What can you sell best?" There is a world of difference between these two questions. The first leads nowhere. The second, if answered correctly, leads to success.
The next best answer is that anyone serious about succeeding online should subscribe to my newsletter. It comes out each Tuesday, and it's "guaranteed" to give you pause to ponder. And likely to help your business or plans. To subscribe, visit: http://sitetipsandtricks.com/subnews.html. | | | | | | Sunil | | If you had to do it all over again, would you do anything differently? | | | | Bob | | Not really. I started on the Web in 1993 selling computer programs I had written. People started asking questions. When I found they liked my answers, consulting seemed a good plan. So I'm content with my present position and like the potential ahead. | | | | | | Sunil | | What are your plans for the future? | | | | Bob | | More of the same. And always try to do it better. It's this challenge that excites me. That is, writing something today that is better than I did yesterday. Or figuring another way to boost a client's conversion ratio. Heady stuff for me. I flat love it. | | | | |
